How to request deletion
- Email legal@vedfoundry.com from the email address connected to your Terramon account.
- Use the subject Terramon account deletion request.
- Include your Terramon account email and your handle if you know it.
If you cannot email from the account address, explain that in your message. We may request additional information to verify account ownership, but we will never ask for your password.
What we delete
After verifying the request, deletion covers data associated with your account, including:
- Your authentication account and email association.
- Your Terramon profile and profile fields.
- Your private encounters and any exact coordinates stored with them.
- Your Terradex associations, XP history, achievements, daily activity, and streak state.
- Scan-attempt and validation records linked to your account, where applicable.
What may remain
Shared plant catalog records may remain because they describe a plant rather than your account. Shifted public discovery points may also remain because they do not contain your account identity and cannot be used to recover the exact coordinates stored with your private encounter. We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Terramon does not store your plant scan photos in its database, so there are no saved account photos to retain after deletion.
Timing and effect
We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days and will confirm when it is complete. Some provider backups may take additional time to age out under normal backup-retention schedules. Account deletion is permanent. Your field journal, progress, and account access cannot be restored afterward.
